I’m Zehra, an award-winning portrait and wedding photographer based in Cheshire and Manchester, with a passion for people, storytelling, and capturing moments that truly matter.
Romance and femininity are key themes that run through my work, my clients often describe my work as light and airy and often book me based on just my portrait work, details and flat lays.
With over 21 years of experience behind the camera, I began my photography journey working with babies and families, where I learned the true art of natural lighting, connection, and timeless posing. That early foundation shaped everything I do today – refined, elegant portraits that feel effortless, sophisticated, and full of heart.
I went on to become a full-time wedding photographer, building a brand that has taken me across the globe – from Tuscany to Madagascar, Rajasthan to Oslo. Along the way, I’ve had the privilege of photographing professionals, creatives, media personalities, influencers and even a politician. My work has been featured in Sky News, the Daily Mail, Khush, Hello Pakistan, and a number of well-loved wedding blogs and magazines.
Clients often say I make them feel calm, confident, and completely at ease in front of the camera and I often get booked just on referrals and testimonials.
In 2018, I was honoured at the Asian Wedding Awards, named one of ProPhoto Magazine’s Top 50 Photographers two years running, and more recently received the 2024 Bizwomen Creative Excellence Award.
But beyond the accolades, I’m deeply passionate about mentorship. I believe in lifting others up, building legacies, and sharing the tools and techniques that. I have learned over the years to help you improve your skillset quicker, and build a mindset that can help you flourish in the wedding industry – without losing your soul or sanity.
