Adam Johnson: FedWed Co-Founder and Cheshire Wedding Photographer
In this series of posts we’re going to be introducing you to the FedWed founders and the rest of the panel building up to the launch of our mentoring options for when the wedding season quietens down and you can start focusing on your business for next year and way beyond. Today’s interview is with our co-founder Adam Johnson – fellow co-founder Ste Walker is asking the questions about Adam’s background, how he got started, and what motivates him 15 years in.
The Unapologetic Nerd
In a world where being technical is frowned upon, Adam calls himself an ‘unapologetic nerd’ about all things technical. Find out about his background as a programmer, and why he doesn’t hide his love for the technical side of wedding photography.
A desire to move the industry forward, positively
Adam started as a wedding photographer in 2010 after a very short second shooting career of one wedding. 5 years later he co-founded NineDots which he ran until late 2020, leaving to take some time out to re-discover his passion for the art of photography, and you’ll find out of the end of this interview why he’s founded FedWed now to bring something different to the table.
FedWed Co-Founder
Adam and Ste first met in 2017 when Ste attended the NineDots Gathering which Adam was running at the time. From there they struck up a working relationship and friendship which has ultimately led to the founding of FedWed. Both Adam and Ste believe in the almighty power of the in-person connection for your business but also as something that isn’t valued nearly enough at a personal level in the age of everything being online.
What is the FedWed Panel and why?
