Meet Neil Horne
Hi, I'm Neil, a wedding photographer with over 25 years experience photographing weddings across the UK and worldwide. Mixing stylish and elegant bridal portraits with a relaxed and fun approach to the less formal shots I tell your story capturing the important moments you will treasure forever.
What do you love about weddings?
Its always about the people. I love photographing people, capturing the special expressions, the little looks and glances, the ambiance of a wedding day. I've been fortunate to photograph in some amazing locations which are beautiful, but it is always the people that matter first.
What is your favourite part of a wedding to capture?
My favourite part of the day is usually the prep shots, the few minutes of calm with the bride before she leaves to get married, the groom with his friends joking and teasing. I always love creating the special shots of the couple, the closeness and intimacy of their love.
How would you describe your style?
I don't really have a definitive style, i always like to try and mix the stylish and elegant with the fun and informal, i merge in the background when I need to but I can also control situations such as group shots when necessary
What one piece of advice would you give to a couple planning their wedding?
my best advice is twofold, always choose a photographer whose work you love and you get on with, and secondly, always have a printed album created by your photographer as this will be your legacy, your heirloom for future generations.
What areas do you cover and are you happy to travel?
I've travelled to all points of the UK to photograph weddings and elopements as well as being lucky enough to travel across the globe to capture wedding days, and I still love to travel, its refreshing, exciting finding new places to photograph and helps me stay creative.
