What do you love about weddings?
Oh, where do I start? I love the buzz of excitement, the flurry of activity, and those emotional moments that weddings are filled with. But as cliched as it sounds, it’s about capturing the story of two people in love, surrounded by their nearest and dearest, all coming together to celebrate something truly special and being able to document that is just magical.
What is your favourite part of a wedding to capture?
That’s like asking me to pick my favourite Star Trek episode – impossible! But if I had to choose, it’s those candid, unscripted moments that really get me. The laughter, the tears, the unexpected – they’re the snapshots that tell the real story of your day.
How would you describe your style?
My tagline is real moments, stunning portraits. That's because I believe that's what most couples want.
For most of the day, my style is natural, documentary. I capture the fun on the day without falsely staging moments. But also I pride myself in being able to produce the stunning portraits you will want to share on social media and hang on your wall.
Do you also offer video?
Yes! My wife is a talented wedding videographer in her own right (@noordinaryfilmsuk). Together we've been lucky enough to travel around the world documenting love stories!
What areas do you cover and are you happy to travel?
Nottingham, Derby, the Shire – you name it, I’m there. And travel? Absolutely! Whether it’s a local bash or an exotic destination wedding, I’m up for the adventure. Just make sure there’s cake, and I’m your guy!
