Meet Martin
Hi, I’m Martin! I live in the creative city of Bristol. Nothing makes me happier than hiking in the mountains, camping or visiting new places. That’s one of the reasons why I like to photograph at new venues and love destination weddings. I’m addicted to yerba mate, running, walking barefoot, ice baths, avocado & spicy food!
My love of street and travel photography is what got me into wedding photography. I speak Polish, Spanish and a bit of Portuguese. I'm a dog & people person 😉
What do you love about weddings?
I love the vibe of weddings. Despite photographing 400+ weddings in my career I found every wedding to be different - the saying that, the people make the wedding it's very true.
What is your favourite part of a wedding to capture?
Well, every part has a different vibe but only on the dancefloor people are off guard and their EMOTIONS are the highest.
It can't get more REAL than this!
On the dancefloor, people are most FREE and I will be there to capture it from as close as possible & boogie with you!
How would you describe your style?
Candid with creative portraits.
First of all, I capture the day in a relaxed and natural style that produces beautiful, informal and emotional images. For me, although mainly for you, you must spend your wedding day primarily with your guests, and not with me! I would be there to capture all the important moments – without you even noticing me. Imagine a shadow ninja with a camera! 😉
What one piece of advice would you give to a couple planning their wedding?
Don't stress about the little things, just enjoy your day!
What areas do you cover and are you happy to travel?
Most of my weddings take place in the Bristol and Bath area (Somerset, Wiltshire, Cotswolds). Very often I photograph in Devon & South Wales. I'm also a big fan of destination weddings, the more exotic the better.
