Meet Neil Ridley
What do you love about weddings?
I love having a little bit of freedom to create something original. Every one of my clients deserves to have a unique image, something I haven't done before. I'm a creative photographer, not a pure documentary photographer at all. The process of creating a dramatic shot is like therapy for me.
What is your favourite part of a wedding to capture?
Without a doubt it's the Prep times. Getting to know everyone prior to the big event really makes a difference in how the day will flow for us all.
How would you describe your style?
I'm laid back, its impossible to stress me out on a wedding day. I love to create some sort of 'hero' shot for my clients. I despise cheese in any form and die inside just a little bit when I hear people say 'smile for the camera'.
What one piece of advice would you give to a couple planning their wedding?
It's YOUR day, do it YOUR way.
What areas do you cover and are you happy to travel?
I cover Nationwide at no extra cost. International by agreement.
