Meet Shane Watts
I'm an Irish wedding photographer based in Malta and have been photographing weddings full time for the last ten years.
What do you love about weddings?
I love the fast pace, the excitement and meeting new people. Every wedding is different and I love documenting those special moments that happen throughout the day.
What is your favourite part of a wedding to capture?
The dancing! Always fun, people let loose and you can get some pretty epic photos.
How would you describe your style?
To me wedding photography is a story told through moments and details together with a few romantic portraits. I prefer a more documentary approach, letting the day unfold.
What one piece of advice would you give to a couple planning their wedding?
Make the day about you! Relatives and friends, although with very good intentions sometimes impose their point of view on what should or should not happen on the day. Your wedding day should be a reflection of you as a couple and a day to enjoy to the max.
What areas do you cover and are you happy to travel?
I photograph weddings in Malta & Gozo and happy to travel around Europe. I have had the pleasure to document weddings in Ireland, UK and Italy.
