The Wedding Photography Improvers Workshop

We invite you to join us in the Cotswolds at the FedWed Prep House on 15th October for this opportunity to spend a day learning from the two FedWed co-founders Adam Johnson and Ste Walker.

The whole day is based around leveling up your photography and business with five mini masterclasses across the course of the day and with only 8 places available it promises to be a really cool learning experience for all involved.

Class One (10-11am) – Creativity & Light Masterclass by Adam

We’re in an era where camera capabilities and AI have taken a lot of the creative strain off us as photographers, and that’s not necessarily a good thing because it creates a ‘sea of sameyness’. This first class is designed to dive straight into this, to help you see differently, and take back that creative control to start making work that looks different from the crowd. Adam believes the best marketing win is to improve the quality of your work and that’s what this mini masterclass is all about.

Class Two (11-12pm) – Couple Portraits by Ste (Live Shoot)

These days it’s rare to get much time with the couple on a wedding day to make portraits and this mini masterclass by Ste will be a live shoot with a model couple, all geared towards working with the couple to get the absolute most from quick fire portrait sessions on wedding days. Ste will share all his tips and tricks for working with couples during this live shoot.

Lunch (12-1pm) – Lunch Provided on the day

The chat will continue over lunch as we digest and debrief the morning’s creativity based sessions over a buffet lunch.

Class Three (1-2pm) – Workflow and Editing by Adam

Something underrated in any photography business is a rock solid workflow. Adam will take you through his entire workflow from shoot to delivery in this mini masterclass. Adam’s big belief is that if something feels overcomplicated then it probably is so through this class you’ll learn how to take a really simplified approach to achieve a slick data and image workflow, and this class will end with some editing tips.

Class Four (2-3pm) – SEO and Marketing by Ste

Ste has built his business over the years using clever marketing and SEO to a point where he is now shooting weddings all over the world at a high price. He will share a whole load of SEO and marketing tips and tactics you can use in your own business as soon as you get home from this workshop.

Class Five (3-4pm) – Portfolio Reviews

We will be reviewing each attendee’s website (or separately submitted portfolio) live to give some tips for helping to make your work stand out to prospective clients before finishing the day around 4pm.
