Toni Darcy: FedWed Panel Member and Lancashire Wedding Photographer
In this series of posts we’re going to be introducing you to the FedWed panel building up to the launch of our mentoring options for when the wedding season quietens down and you can start focusing on your business for next year and way beyond. Today’s interview is with Toni Darcy, being interviewed by FedWed co-founder Adam.
How a funeral shaped Toni’s wedding photography
Toni candidly shares her story of getting stared in wedding photography and experimenting with a whole range of different styles and approaches, but talks openly about how photographing her own granddad’s funeral led to her having an epiphany about the documentary approach which shapes her style of wedding photography.
Using flash was a lightbulb moment
Toni, a MagMod ambassador, has become well known over the years for being a flash champion. Whether it’s fake sunsets or just using flash to improve the quality of light at her weddings, Toni talks in this interview about how playing and experimenting away from weddings is the best way to learn flash and bring it into your wedding photography.
